Duncan Edit – Sorry I haven’t been able to add photos for the last few nights, I will continue to try but don’t hold your breath!!

First thing this morning we had breakfast at 7.30am again!! This was followed by. Leaving for DBS for the final and emotional day of summer club (apprehension set in).
There was no one there (as today was a Saturday) but within a few minutes of our arrival the older children from P7 turned up. To our surprise a dance (African) started our day, carried out by a few of their talented and enthusiastic students. It was amazing and an incredible way to say thank you. We then split into our smaller groups to do the day’s activities as it was a Saturday there were less students which in some ways was more enjoyable and manageable. This meant in sport we just played one big game of football, it was great, hilarious and chaotic. Fun for everyone including children that don’t usually attend the school. It was especially funny when Megan wiped out James in the game in football. Back at the hotel we all packed ready for our journey to Paraa and swam in the pool (Duncan Edit – The pool was a bit murky following a local schools swimming gala where children ranging from 18 months to 8 took part in various races. Watching African children swim is quite funny as there is a lot of splashing and it looks as if they are often drowning!). After lunch we went to Mustard Seed for the final time the children were typically manic but very cute! But when it was time to leave on came the waterworks (especially the Youth) as nobody wanted to say goodbye! We came back to The Crown for dinner and enjoyed yet another, verbally aggressive game of Mafia (Duncan Edit – A bit like the game killer I played when I was younger. No one gets physically hurt! Well they shouldn’t). We are now having an early night, 9.30 as everyone will sleep tonight ready for a 5am start in the morning.

Night from Rob and Megan

PS by the time we send the next Blog hopefully we will have seen some of God’s creation and wild animals!
